  1. I dunno, I haven’t investigated it all yet. The intent seemed clear that this is a permanent change, since Ted Leung and Thom May – who have been hosting planetapache.org on their own private space in the past – would rather have ASF infra support it, which apparently is happening now.

    Technical details of the change:
    https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-1922 Create planet.apache.org

In the past, the planetapache.org config.ini file that actually lists the feeds aggregated was at https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/planet/config.ini However I do not know if infra is planning to use the same config file, or a new one (I know they based it off the existing one). You could try checking your blog’s feed into there and see.

Note that in the future some folks would like to use the people.apache.org listings to pull in the list of blogs, but it’s not setup that way yet (the two systems, people.apache.org and planetapache) were grown separately, so no-one has yet volunteered to setup the overall site architecture yet. Personally, I’d like to see a lot more stuff autogenerated form the people.a.o RDF files.
